TKAD Studio

I design the space completely, with the materials and millwork and lighting chosen together, and then draw it accurately enough that whoever builds it is never guessing.

For design firms & architects

Overflow support that protects your timeline — and your client experience.

When the work outpaces your hours, I step in as a contractor so you can say yes without taking on an employee, an office, or the supervision that comes with either. You stay the face of the project; I help carry the production behind it.

  • Drafting & Revit Production — construction documents, Revit modeling, existing-conditions modeling, redlines, and coordination, produced under your direction and your license.
  • SOQ & Proposal Writing — Statements of Qualifications and RFP responses written from scratch or from your past work, so pursuit deadlines stop pulling you off the board.
  • Social Media & Content — custom content, graphics, and a steady posting rhythm for design firms, managed so your marketing doesn't fall to the bottom of the list.
  • Flexible Overflow Support — contractor, never employee. Scoped per project or hourly, structured so the help is priced into your work and adds to your margin instead of eating it.

For business & property owners

You have a vision. I help you see it, plan it, and find the right people to build it.

Starting a space is overwhelming — what you need, who you need, and in what order. I translate your vision into a real design, show it to you before anything is built, and connect you with the licensed architects, engineers, and builders the project calls for, so it never stalls halfway through.

  • Interior Design — space planning and customer flow, finishes, lighting, furniture, and atmosphere; holistic environments built to support your brand and keep customers coming back.
  • 3D Renderings & Visualization — see your space before it's built. Photorealistic renderings and walkthroughs make the “is this right?” decision easy for you, your partners, and your lender.
  • Your Guide Through the Process — I help you understand what your project actually needs, point you to the right jurisdictions, and assemble the right licensed team, so you're never lost in the permitting maze.
  • Residential Design & House Plans — new homes, additions and remodels, drawn as a full set your builder and your building department can work from.

TKAD Studio provides interior design and design support. For work that requires a licensed architect or engineer, I bring in the professionals your project calls for — coordinated so you only ever have one point of contact.

About

The studio behind the work

I'm Tori King, the designer behind TKAD Studio. I hold a Master of Architecture from Ohio State and have spent seven-plus years across architecture and interior design — and somewhere along the way I realized the parts I loved most, and was best at, didn't fit neatly into one job description.

So I built a studio around them. TKAD Studio is contract support for architecture and design firms — the production, proposals, and marketing that pull them away from the work they'd rather be doing — and a steady guide for business and property owners who have a vision but aren't sure how to make it real. I design the space, show it to you before anything is built, and connect you with the right licensed team to see it through.

I work from Urbana, Ohio, close to family and the small-town community that shaped me, and remotely with clients wherever they are. What ties it all together is a simple belief: good design isn't decoration, it's atmosphere — and atmosphere is what makes a place work, whether it's a home someone falls for or a business their customers keep coming back to.

That's the studio I'm building, one project and one relationship at a time.

“Tori was exactly what I needed, both in sourcing materials for my client and in creating organized documentation that made the project proposal easy and beautiful. Would definitely work with again.” — Rebecca, Revision Custom Home Design
